Job Description: EMT-P (Paramedic)
Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Shift: Full Time Overnight Positions
Sign-On Bonus: $25K sign-on bonus for overnight paramedic shifts with two-year contract commitment.
The Paramedic role is responsible for the direction of patient care while operating non-emergency and/or emergency modalities as rescue unit in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and directives.
The EMT-P lead, direct, and participate in the delivery of basic and advanced life support in a pre-hospital or facility situation. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cleaning patient care compartment and vehicle in accordance with Company adopted infection control and maintenance guidelines.
• Maintaining office, lounge, bunk room, and vehicle parking area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance a minimum of 125 pounds equally distributed and 250 pounds with assistance, to a height of 33 inches and a distance of 10 feet
• Attending training sessions and orientations as required to maintain valid Virginia EMT Certification and requirements of the Company.

Overview:

Job Description: Driver (EVOC)

LifeCare is proud to say we are growing! Due to our recent expansions, we are looking for qualified employees for both full-time and part-time positions.
Description: The driver provides patient transportation to/from medical appointments and healthcare facilities. Provides assistance to EMT's with moving and transporting patients in emergent and non-emergent settings.
Driving position requires an Emergency Vehicle Operators Certification as opposed to a CDL. Certification can be obtained through LifeCare Medical Transports. EVOC Course is free for full-time employees. Applicants who are part-time or do not come onboard will be charged a small fee for the course.
LifeCare’s EVOC Course is a hybrid course. Modules are completed online on your own time. Then a range and skills check will be performed in person; with a cognitive exam covering the material you learned during the online modules. EVOC range is conducted once a month.
All required certifications can be obtained through LifeCare with provided DMV record from applicant.
Must be 21 years old to operate ambulances and emergency/transport vehicles.

The Paramedic role is responsible for the direction of patient care while operating non-emergency and/or emergency modalities as rescue unit in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and directives.
The EMT-P lead, direct, and participate in the delivery of basic and advanced life support in a pre-hospital or facility situation. When operating as attendant-in-charge, EMT-P provides direction to other crew members on patient care and medical issues. The EMT-P delivers emergency medical care to patients as indicated by medical control or patient care protocols.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Time will be spent leading, directing, and participating in the delivery of basic and advanced life support in a pre-hospital or facility situation.
• Gives direction to other crew members when operating as attendant-in-charge on patient care and medical issues.
• Examines patients and reports findings to receiving medical staff or physicians.
• Delivers emergency medical care to patients as indicated by medical control or patient care protocols.
• Responsible for completing and recording all required reports or runs made by the crews.
• Operate the ambulance in accordance with safety rules and regulations: company policies; federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and statutes
• Assuring that assigned vehicle is completely stocked and in good running order at the beginning of each shift, after every response, and at the end of each shift.
• Cleaning patient care compartment and vehicle in accordance with Company adopted infection control and maintenance guidelines.
• Maintaining office, lounge, bunk room, and vehicle parking area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance a minimum of 125 pounds equally distributed and 250 pounds with assistance, to a height of 33 inches and a distance of 10 feet
• Attending training sessions and orientations as required to maintain valid Virginia EMT Certification and requirements of the Company.
• Maintain all required certifications as an active EMS provider and supply the Human Resources Department with valid copies of all certifications and driver's license prior to their expiration date.
• Performing other related duties as required by management.

Job Description: Driver (EVOC)
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Shift: Full Time
LifeCare is proud to say we are growing! Due to our recent expansions, we are looking for qualified employees for both full-time and part-time positions.
Description: The driver provides patient transportation to/from medical appointments and healthcare facilities. Provides assistance to EMT's with moving and transporting patients in emergent and non-emergent settings.
Driving position requires an Emergency Vehicle Operators Certification as opposed to a CDL. Certification can be obtained through LifeCare Medical Transports. EVOC Course is free for full-time employees. Applicants who are part-time or do not come onboard will be charged a small fee for the course.
LifeCare’s EVOC Course is a hybrid course. Modules are completed online on your own time. Then a range and skills check will be performed in person; with a cognitive exam covering the material you learned during the online modules. EVOC range is conducted once a month.
All required certifications can be obtained through LifeCare with provided DMV record from applicant.
Must be 21 years old to operate ambulances and emergency/transport vehicles.
Requirements:
Certified EVOC Operator (Can be obtained through LifeCare EVOC program)
Current CPR, must be HealthCare Provider CPR (Can be obtained with LifeCare)
Valid Virginia Driver’s License with no negative points.
